Amanita
Covilhã, Portugal 1997.
Born and raised in Portuguese mountains, rooted by ancient threaders and weavers of the wool industries of Serra da Estrela.
Nomad living in a van since 2023, currently based in Barcelona. Have been interested in traveling to work and learn in other countries as Germany, Italy, Austria, Poland,Greece and Thailand.
Influenced by movement in Contemporary Dance and Butoh, manifest spiritual, feminist and political statements.
Rope Work
The form of manifestation through ropes means the connections between everything, engaging our individuality with the whole this expression brings out aesthetic geometries with a sense of floating in space. Performance turns the process of connection an eternal dance with our ancestors, surroundings and our vulnerabilities.
Background (Ryu)
Japanese Culture: Akira Naka, Akeshi Kanna, Hajime Kinoko, Yagami Ren, Yukimura.
Contemporary Shibari: Noshibari.
Inspiration
Contemporary Shibari, Movement in Restriction, Contact Improvisation, Butoh, Gaga and Ritualism.
A fusion of dance, ropes and mysticism. Stories are told without words. Each performance is unique.
A journey that in different directions allows to connect with cultures, ideas, inspirations and learn from experience.
It was always an important fiel of creation on my work. The perception of each Photographer creates multiverses and possibilities.
